Art by Indian Children sold as NFTs to raise funds for children’s education

In 2020 and 2021 the COVID-19 pandemic impacted at least 247 million school going children.

Popularly chocolate brand, Mondelez International Cadbury Gems in association with a global NGO, Save the Children has launched a unique fundraising campaign to provide education for over six million children out of school in India.

The #JuniorNFT initiative, encourages Indian children to upload their drawings and art online to be converted into digital collectibles like Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTS), which are then sold to buyers to fund the education programs run by Save the Children.
