American India Foundation establishes India's First STEM Innovation and Learning Center

In an effort to make Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education more accessible in India, the American India Foundation (AIF) inaugurated the country’s first STEM Innovation and Learning Center (SILC) in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

The new center established under the government’s Vanavil Mandram scheme was inaugurated at a Government Higher Secondary School in the presence of the State’s Minister for School Education, Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi.
