Amazon launched Amazon Air in India to become the first e-commerce business in the nation to have a dedicated air freight network. The company will use the whole cargo capacity of a Boeing 737-800 aircraft being flown by Quikjet Cargo Airlines, a partnership between AFL and the Irish-based ASL Aviation Group.

Amazon Air will fly client shipments to Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai locations, an official statement noted adding that the launch is a testament to Amazon India's commitment to keep expanding its capacity and improve its transportation system.
