Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has become the first Indian Global Ambassador of Gucci and will make her first appearance as the brand’s ambassador at the Gucci Cruise 2024 show. The show is scheduled to happen at the Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul, on May 16, 2023. The fashion house will mark 25 years of its celebration in the nation.
“To mark the occasion, the actress, producer, and entrepreneur were captured with the Gucci Bamboo 1947 bag,” Gucci tweeted.

The actress also announced the update in a collaborative post on Instagram which read: “Alia Bhatt is the House’s newest Global Brand Ambassador.”
She expressed, “I’m honoured to represent the house of Gucci not only in India but on a global stage. Gucci’s legacy has always inspired and intrigued me and I’m looking forward to the many sartorial milestones we create together.”

This comes just after her debut at the Met Gala 2023 where she opted for a beautiful white gown with pearl embellishment all over it by designer Prabal Gurung.
The actress will soon debut in Hollywood in Netflix’s Heart of Stone, a thriller, alongside Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan. According to a report by the Hindustan Times, the movie will premiere on the streaming platform on August 11, 2023. She will also feature in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa with Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra.
