Air India ties up with UK firm for real-time reporting of in-flight incidents

Air India recently faced severe criticism for the poor handling of the ‘Pee-Gate’ incident in which an inebriated person urinated on a 70-year-old female passenger mid flight on Nov 26, 2022

India’s leading airline, Air India has announced a tie-up with UK-based Ideagen to use its cloud software application, Coruson for safety management and real-time intelligence and reporting of in-flight incidents.

The development comes after the airline faced criticism for its handling of the ‘Pee-Gate’ incident in which an inebriated person had allegedly urinated on a 70-year-old female passenger on Nov 26, 2022.
