Air India resumes direct flights to Copenhagen

Delhi and Copenhagen flight route resumption is in line with Air India’s focused mission to enhance international connectivity between India and the rest of the world.

India’s flagship airline, Air India continues to spread its wings on the global map. The airline announced on March 1, 2023, the resumption of its non-stop flights between Delhi and Copenhagen.

Following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic after a hiatus of almost three years, this service will further strengthen Air India’s foothold in Europe, after the recent restart of flights to different European destinations.

The resumption is in line with Air India’s focused mission to enhance international connectivity between India and the rest of the world. After the recently relaunched flights to Vienna and Milan, Air India’s India-Europe frequency has,with the Copenhagen service, now increased to 79 non-stop flights per week, according to an official statement.

Commenting on the resumption of flight service between Delhi – Copenhagen, the chief commercial and transformation officer, of Air India, Nipun Aggarwal said, “ The non-stop service from Delhi to Copenhagen, following there launch of the flights between Delhi and Vienna, affirms our commitment to developing a major international hub in India’s capital.”

As per the shared flight schedule for Delhi – Copenhagen route, Flight AI 157 will operate on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Air India's state-of-the-art Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft, featuring a two-class cabin configuration, 18 business class and 236 economy class seats will be used for the route.
