Ahmedabad University recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) – a leading public institution based in Virginia, USA with the aim of advancing internationalization of higher education in India.
Internationalization of higher education is an aim of the government under the National Education Policy 2020 that aims to create global citizens in Indian educational institutions by raising the quality of education to match the global standards with alignment of curriculum to instill the type of skill to improve productivity in a globalized competitive economy.
