The documentary ‘Kaali’, by Toronto-based filmmaker Leena Manimekalai, was screened in Aga Khan Museum in Toronto and had an objectionable depiction of Goddess Kali on its poster. India reacted to this by requesting Canada to remove the provocative material from the poster of the documentary.
On Wednesday, the Museum expressed its sincere apology for offending Hindus and announced that the presentation will no longer be screened there.
