MEA’s Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service hosts a familiarisation programme

Through a 21-day orientation programme run by MEA's OlA - Il Division, the KIP, a leading effort for diaspora engagement, familiarises youth of Indian heritage from ages 18 and 30 with their Indian roots and modern India.

The Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service (SSIFS) of the Ministry of External Affairs hosted a half-day familiarisation workshop on Nov. 4, 2022, for participants of the 62nd Know India Programme (KIP).

The programme was attended by forty young Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) from fourteen different nations. Modules on India and Indian foreign policy were part of the familiarisation programme at SSIFS, which was organised by the Additional Secretary of  Overseas Indian Affairs (OlA) - Il Division Manika Jain, and Joint Secretary Mridu Pawan Das.
