According to the University Grants Commission (UGC) chief, M.Jagadesh Kumar, as many as 49 foreign universities have expressed their interest to collaborate academically with Indian institutions.
The foreign universities are already in the process of drafting Memorandum of Understandings (MoU) for the partnerships Kumar said adding that UGC is in contact with all the interested parties.
